There’s a moment every Whistler visitor knows. Your legs are done after the last run, the light is going pink on the peaks, and all you want is warm water and a view. Where you land at the end of the day shapes the whole trip, and two things tend to matter more than anything else: a place to soak and something beautiful to look at while you do it.
We manage more than 20 properties around Whistler, and these are the Whistler accommodation picks guests ask about by name. Some have shared pools that run year-round, some have private hot tubs on the deck, and several sit close enough to the slopes to ski right back to the door.
What to Look for Before You Book
A few details make a big difference once you arrive:
- Shared vs. private hot tub. A common hot tub is great for couples and small groups. If you’re traveling with a big crew or want privacy, a private tub on your own deck is worth prioritizing.
- Pool season. Several of our complexes have heated outdoor pools open all year. Swimming outside while snow falls is one of the strangest and best parts of a Whistler winter.
- Ski access. Ski-in/ski-out saves real time and energy, especially with kids and gear. A five- to ten-minute walk or a free shuttle ride is still very manageable.
- Which view. Some units look toward Whistler and Blackcomb, others face Rainbow Mountain across the valley. Both are spectacular, just at different times of day.
Best for a Pool and Hot Tub Combo
Aspens Lodge (1 Bedroom)
If you want everything in one place, Aspens Lodge is hard to beat. It’s ski-in/ski-out on Blackcomb’s Benchlands, with the runs about 30 seconds from the building. The complex has a year-round heated pool and two shared hot tubs, and the unit itself looks out toward both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
Inside, there’s a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, and a balcony with a BBQ. It sleeps up to four, which makes it a great fit for couples or a small family. Whistler Village is about a five-minute walk away when you want dinner out.
Glacier’s Reach (2 Bedrooms)
Glacier’s Reach gives you the best of both worlds: a shared, year-round heated outdoor pool in the complex and a private outdoor hot tub attached to your suite, overlooking Whistler and Blackcomb. You also get your own entrance, a gas fireplace, and in-suite laundry.
It’s right by Whistler Village Marketplace, so groceries, Starbucks, shops, and restaurants are about a minute’s walk away. The lifts are roughly ten minutes on foot or a quick free shuttle ride. It sleeps four to six.
Northstar (2 Bedrooms)
Northstar is a townhouse in a quiet corner of Whistler Village, across from the Marketplace. Guests share a heated outdoor pool and a common hot tub, both open year-round. The highlight here is the large covered patio, set up with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ, looking out at Rainbow Mountain.
It’s a comfortable pick for families who want to walk everywhere without staying in the busiest part of the village.
Stoney Creek Lagoons (1 Bedroom)
For a budget-friendly stay with a pool, Stoney Creek Lagoons offers a year-round heated outdoor pool and a shared hot tub in Whistler Village. The lifts are about a seven-minute walk, and the unit has a gas fireplace and a balcony. It’s a smart base for two to four guests who plan to spend most of their time on the mountain.
Best for a Private Hot Tub and Big Views
Mountain Star (4 Bedrooms)
Mountain Star is our go-to recommendation for large groups. This three-level townhome in the Blackcomb Benchlands is ski-in/ski-out, with the slopes under two minutes away near the Wizard Chairlift. The private six-person hot tub sits right on the balcony, facing Rainbow Mountain.
There’s room for eight to ten, a gourmet kitchen, heated floors, air conditioning for summer, and a free village shuttle stop at the door.
Taluswood (3 Bedrooms)
Set in Nordic Estates on Whistler Mountain, Taluswood is one of the most exclusive ski-in/ski-out spots we offer. The private six-person hot tub is upstairs, and the big-sky mountain views carry through the whole home, helped by 16-foot vaulted ceilings.
The master bedroom has its own fireplace, and the heated double garage makes winter arrivals much easier. It sleeps six to eight.
Cedar Hollow (4 Bedrooms)
Tucked into old-growth forest just off Blackcomb’s Village Run, Cedar Hollow is ski-in/ski-out with a private outdoor hot tub big enough for eight. Mountain views, vaulted hemlock ceilings, exposed beams, and heated slate floors give it a classic mountain-lodge feel.
A big mudroom handles skis, boards, and bikes, and Whistler Village is about a five-minute walk. It sleeps eight to ten.
Whistler Montebello (3 Bedrooms)
Whistler Montebello brings a private six-person hot tub to a townhome just five minutes on foot from the Blackcomb Gondola and the village. Heated slate floors, a river rock fireplace, granite counters, and two parking stalls make it a comfortable choice for families of six to eight.
Best for Views on a Budget
Not every great stay needs a private tub. Blackcomb Greens sits on the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course with mountain views from the balcony and a shared hot tub, close to Lost Lake and the Valley Trail. Greyhawk on Blueberry Hill looks across forest and golf course toward the Whistler and Blackcomb range, with a renovated interior and a shared hot tub.
Tips for Getting the Unit You Want
Properties with private hot tubs and ski-in/ski-out access book up first, especially over the holidays, Family Day weekend, and spring break. If one of these is on your list, book early. Summer is a different story: pool-equipped complexes are fantastic from June to September, when mountain biking, lake days, and hiking fill the calendar, and availability is usually easier.
Booking directly with us also tends to save you money compared to third-party sites, and you’ll be dealing with a local team in Whistler Village if anything comes up during your stay.
